Welcome new readers!
Hello! Welcome to tenzons.com! How nice to have you with us! We hope that you will feel very much at home here.
You may be wondering “What is this site?” or perhaps “Why am I here?” or maybe even “Where are all the pornographic pictures of cyborg zombie minotaurs I was promised?” All of these, and other, questions will be answered, or not, in good time!
This site is a humble sanctum for my assorted works of short and serialized fiction. At least, all of the works that are not fit for print in any “normal” or “reputable” kind of publication. And perhaps “sanctum” isn’t the best word, at times it serves as more of a “dumping ground”. But it is what it is.
Each of the posts on this site runs about 1000-2000 words, which is four to eight pages in your typical paperback. Each post contains either an independent story or an element of a longer serial. In the sidebar of the site, you will find a categorized list of all of our content, sorted either by serial/story, or by date.
So have at it! But in case you are confused as to where to begin, let us offer a few (humble) suggestions:
The Corner Office is a three part serial about the potentially explosive consequences of office romance, with a fair number of explosions and some gunplay thrown in for good measure.
Franco, the Ketchup Packet Kid is short story, or maybe a vignette, about adolescent mutants with issues.
The Tragic Tale of Eleyna of Hemanen and Arden of Ixthan is an epic fantasy, although it does not contain any dwarves, elves, hobbits, etc. Instead it is about the very real struggles of a girl named Eleyna, who only happens to live in a world where she runs into cyclopes, mad wizards, and pirate warlords on a near-daily basis, and where a megalomaniacal princeling wants to take her for his queen in a distant and wartorn kingdom, and where vengeful gods pitch long battles for the control of mens’ hearts and souls. But aside from that, it’s really very quotidian.
Finally, if you have been wondering (and who hasn’t?) about the site’s odd name, be sure to find out for yourself just what is a tenzon anyhow?
Those are a few starting points. We hope you find the site enjoyable and pleasant to peruse.
